This week anyway. We're going to the renaissance fair this weekend and I have exactly 6 days to make our costumes! :) So I'll leave you with my patterns...
My costume:
Skirt from Simplicity 3623 in a dark green and tan plaid flannel
Blouse (with adjusted neck and modified sleeves) from Simplicity 3809 in a tan gauze
Vest from Butterick 4669 in a green denim...perhaps with a completely "inappropriate" pink lining.
Joe's costume:
Kilt from Simplicity 8913 in a slightly smaller sized plaid in the same colors as my skirt! :)
Shirt also from Simplicity 8913 in a light brown (but darker than my tan) gauze
Jenny's costume will be a mix of various patterns made out of white gauze with scraps from my skirt fabric...
In case you haven't guessed, we're going on the Scottish weekend...and Joe asked for a fitting costume. :) So there you go! I'll post pictures as soon as I get them!
