340...

Cups of water that I scooped out of the washer that is...sigh, yup, somethin's wrong! It's making a dreadful noise, but it's turning and everything so I'm hoping that it will be an easy fix that can be done tomorrow or Friday. It was full of water, but wouldn't drain...it sort of made half hearted attempts to agitate. Anyway, it was also of course full of diapers. Luckily it had completed the first pre-wash and had gotten most of the way through the wash cycle. I had to ring out each one and then rinse it in the tub before I could put them in the dryer. :( And then came the scooping and dumping...my shoulder rather hates me I think, and it is going to take quite a bit of shea butter to make my hands and arms a bit less "washer women". lol So I guess I'll be busy finding other ways of getting our clothes all clean so I can pack them for the trip...

I got so much work done in the kitchen today. It looks so much better! It still needs some more work but I think it should be pretty easy to get done tomorrow, with plenty of time left to get the other two rooms ready for the Southern Living party I'm "hostessing" tomorrow night. Jenny is going to go visit her Grammy (Joe's mom) tomorrow (maybe the'll run a few loads of laundry!!) for a few hours between her naps. So really I have all day do finish cleaning and "pretty-ing" the downstairs and if I'm lucky I'll even be able to shower!!

Friday is going to be busy with packing and loading the car and getting the house ready to be empty for a week. I'm so excited to go! I found two outfits for Jenny tonight at WalMart...they're little boys easter shirts...button ups striped in pinks and greens and blues...and I got two pair of pants to go with them...one light pink, and one khaki. They're sooo cute! I had hoped to get some sewing done for the two of us before we left, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

Well I need to scoot...Joe already went to bed, and he would probably like it if I turned off my audio book. :)

I'm trying to feel bad for you, but you could always do laundry at the Magic Kingdom! ;-)

Of course, ours is available today if you want to haul the laundry over...

Poor thing! I hope you were able to get the washer fixed.
I pray you have a fun and safe trip.

Lots of love,
