At $70.00 a pair I was somewhat hesitant...having never spent more than $30.00 on a pair of shoes...ever. However I liked the "green" aspects of these... cork soles, rubber toes, water based glues etc. (for more info and a list of "ingredients" go here). I checked out Zappos.com, and while the reviews were helpful in choosing my size, they are $4.00 more expensive over there...and since both places have free shipping, I went with ordering them straight from Simple Shoes. Most of the reviews said that the shoes had roomy toe boxes, but they needed a half size up...so since I'm about a 9.5 normally I got the 10's. I LOVE THEM! They're comfy right out of the box, even with my wide, funky arched feet...and they're so cute! So...I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a multi-purpose shoe (I plan to wear these for everything but the very dressiest of occasions), especially as they look like they will last for years and years.

Oh, those are so cute! I've always hated spending what felt like too much on shoes and other clothing items, but I figure if it's good quality and last me a long time, it's absolutely worth it.
